Mr. César is Vice President of NexantECA Subscriptions business, which provides analytics, forecasts, and insights for the energy and chemicals industries. He has more than 20 years of experience in market and economic evaluation, technology assessment, and competitive analysis in both consulting and industrial environments. Most recently, he was VP of Chemical Industry Research and Senior Director, Global Product Management at IHS, where he led the integration of the entire IHS Chemical portfolio of multi-client products and services (legacy SRIC, CMAI, Harriman Chemsult, and Chemical Week).
He previously served as Global Director of Business Development and VP, Latin American Operations at SRI Consulting. Mr. César started his career at Rhodia S.A. He was a Fulbright Scholar and holds an MBA from the University of California (Berkeley), an MS in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst), and a BS in chemical engineering from the State University of Campinas (Brazil). He is fluent in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and French.
