Market Insights: Bimodal HDPE - 2026
Read full report

A significant development thrust for HDPE has been into bimodal grades for high performance film, pressure pipe, and blow moulding applications, and to a lesser extent injection moulding, wire and cable, and fibre applications. There is an increasing trend to bimodal products, where the combination of better processability, without the loss of mechanical strength, permits downgauging and a reduction in product profile or thickness. This report includes discussion regarding key market trends of bimodal HDPE, as well as supply, demand and trade analysis for nine regions: North America, South America, Western Europe, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and China, including forecast. Analysis includes latest pricing trends and forecasts by region to 2050.

Epichlorohydrin (2026 Program)
Read full report

Epichlorohydrin (ECH) is a key intermediate used principally in the manufacture of epoxy resins. Most ECH is produced from allyl chloride, although production from glycerol is gaining market share due to the availability of crude glycerol as a by-product of biodiesel production, while production from allyl alcohol is declining in terms of market share. Thus, the cost of production and associated carbon intensity for these three routes have been estimated for plants in the United States, Western Europe, and China for the first quarter of 2026. FGENexantECA also reviewed the developing ECH technologies including the catalytic epoxidation of allyl chloride and the electrophilic oxidation of allyl chloride. FGENexantECA also provided a high-level analysis of the business and strategic considerations along with an overview of technology availability, ECH applications, and capacity.
