Neil Varshney

Vice President, EMEA

Neil Varshney is a Vice President at NexantECA based in London, with responsibility for chemicals and materials consulting activities in the EMEA region. He also leads the regional transaction support practice for energy and chemicals, and the circular economy.

Neil has broad experience that encompasses consulting, industry and academia within the chemicals sector. His 15 years of consulting experience includes strategy, M&A, marketing and technology evaluation projects for clients ranging from start-ups to national oil companies as well as investors, banks and financial sponsors.

Prior to consulting, Neil worked in technical and new product development for Wavin, Europe’s largest drainage systems manufacturer, where he implemented much of his doctoral research about formulation and process optimization for rigid PVC extrusions.

Neil holds a PhD in Polymer Engineering and BEng in Materials Engineering, both from Loughborough University, UK. He also has an MBA from Melbourne Business School, Australia which included a period of study at IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
