Crude Oil Heavy Fractions Processing (2026 Program)

This report provides an overview of commercial and developing technologies for processing heavy fractions of crude oil to maximize value from a barrel of oil. The process economics for technologies to valorize ‘bottom of the barrel’ fractions is also included. Sensitivity analysis for five technologies across six regions for low, medium and high oil prices is also included.
